Kathmandu & Lumbini

Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha, which is about 180 km west of Kathmandu in the Terai region. Before his enlightment Buddha's childhood name is Siddhartha Gautam. He was born as a prince in 623 B.C. Mayadevi Temple, and Ashoka Pillar are the most attractive places in Lumbini. Now Lumbini is protected by the World Heritage Site of UNESCO. In recent days Lumbini has been the center of international visitors.

Different types of hotels- deluxe, standard and economic [guest houses] are available at Bhairahawa the nearest city from Lumbini. Some of the hotels are Hotel Hokke [ under Japanese Mangement] , Hotel Nirvana, Hotel Yeti etc.

Day 01 : Arrival and transfer to the hotel.
Day 02 : Fly to Bhairahawa and drive to Lumbini.or Drive to Lumbini.
Day 03 : Lumbini sight-seeing.
Day 04 : Drive/Fly back to Kathmandu.
Day 05 : Whole day Kathmandu sight seeing.
Day 06 : Transfer to the airport for onward journey.
